Post subject: Expedia now has 7-Day cookie Affiliate Referral Period

We have very exciting news to share with you. Expedia has integrated a 7 day cookie for their affiliate program as opposed to the session based cookie we have been used to. The 7 day cookie has already lifted numbers significantly and we expect the increases to continue.
Expedia integrated the new cookie as of April 5th so you will no doubt see a lift in your numbers since that time. We plan to push out new program terms that include the 7 day cookie for each action but will wait until the end of this month to push the terms so you don't have any problems accumulating your performance incentives in the meantime. Please note that the cookie is already in place and even though it is not included in your current program terms you are benefiting from the new cookie since Expedia sends their transaction data to CJ using the batch process. We will send out another notification as soon as we push the new program terms so you will that you are in the loop.
I urge you to run reports on your account so that you can see the impact it has had on your account and hope that you will give Expedia more exposure on your website so you can take full advantage of the new cookie duration. We have included a fantastic promotion for you to promote below. The coupon offer is only good until 4/21/08 and we have updated the messaging below so that you can better convey the sense of urgency to your customers.
